Need for Speed Unbound gameplay trailer has been released, as well as the release date

The official release date for Need for Speed Unbound has been announced, and fans have been able to get their first up-close look at it. There is quite a departure from the previous games in the series as it seems to blend anime art styles with photorealistic graphics.

There seems to have been a positive reaction to this new visual blend from the fanbase, who feel this was a breath of fresh air for a franchise that had been spiraling downward. Players can climb their way up the rankings by racing, collecting, and upgrading their rides in the city of Lakeshore. The game comes out on December 2, 2022.

As the first game in the series featuring 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, the game is exclusive to current-gen consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X/S) and PC.

A$AP Rocky isn’t just featured on the soundtrack, he might also be one of the opponents in the game.

The game “Need for Speed Unbound” focuses on self-expression, taking risks, and disrupting the status quo through your racing style, car builds, fashion, music, and much more,” commented Kieran Crimmins, Criterion’s Creative Director. As we make this game, we want to create a truly authentic universe in which players can see themselves represented.”

Players have the option of choosing from hundreds of cosmetic items, including exclusive licensed items, in the game, which seems to emphasize customization. A$AP Rocky is the game’s in-game leader and the Takeover Scene mode brings the community together to take over part of the city in a replayable “precision driving mode.”
